The college Administration has been successful to an extend in ensuring this feat and as a result of this, this college, presently, have a team of faculties with high qualification and great experience. Green and Clean Eco-Friendly Campus
As a Social Responsibility towards protecting the nature, the Mahatma Gandhi College, over the years, has inherited the habit of maintaining a green eco-friendly campus. The importance of environmental cleanliness cannot be overstated. The college practices Proper Waste Management System for Solid, Liquid and E-Wastes separately. Also our students and teachers are making extensive efforts in spreading the habit to the neighbouring population and extension services by the NSS ensures this practice amongst the villagers.
Anti Ragging
Ragging is strictly prohibited in the college campus. Ragging is a disturbing reality in the higher education system of our country. Despite the fact that over the years ragging has claimed hundreds of innocent lives and has ruined careers of thousands of bright students, the practice is still perceived by many as a way of ‘familiarization’ and an ‘initiation into the real world’ for young college-going students. Other organisations/bodies working in this field have also attempted to define ragging, the variety of definitions being reflective of differences in perspective.
